If You are a selfie-addict and love Snapping pictures holding the phone towards your face, then Sony has something awesome for you. The Flagship giant launched its yet another new Smartphone in the name of Xperia C3, which comes as
a bang on surprise for the selfie freaks-as claimed by this flagship company.
The real question comes in when the worth to buy for 20,490 INR is in. Everyday
a new Smartphone booms in the tech-market. What makes them stand apart are
their Key specs or what we more specifically as “users’ benefits”. Here is a
review on the Sony Xperia C3 launched in Taiwan this week.
1] Display
The 5.5-Inch
capacitive touch screen display comes with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. We
have the Xperia C3 with 220 Pixels per inch or ppi in 16M colours. The best
thing about the display lies in its HD quality. Juiced in the crowded train and
not finding a proper angle to view that favourite match of yours? Push your
qualms aside because the all-new Xperia C3 comes in with a “HD display from all
angles” feature. This IPS helps you view in a perfect way from all the sides
and angles, while maintaining accurate colours. The 720p
screen boasts the latest Sony TV technologies optimised for mobiles.
2] Camera
Never miss
out those precious moments with a perfect selfies. The Smartphone comes with a
5MP front camera and to add cherry on the cake, it has a soft LED flash too. This
feature is specially designed to make the selfie experience more vivid.
Unique LED Flash- the flash captures the image with clear precision by casting the light
evenly on the image, making it look more professional. Be it the daytime or the
night, this soft LED flash makes it possible at all times.
Front camera has a superior auto- this is the first time an Xperia Smartphone has a superior
auto incorporated in the front camera. Whether, there is a strong backlight or
a night scene that needs to captured, this superior auto makes all the pictures
look beautiful. This feature recognizes up to 36 scene types and turn the HDR
on & off according to the image type.
8MP Rear camera-
the phone features a 8MP rear camera with auto-focus.
25 mm wide, angles- Tired of your friends being cropped in the picture due to less screen space?
Take a breath of relief, as the 5MP front camera comes in with a 25mm wide-angle
lens and an 80-degree of view.
Exmor RSTM - the company has taken a step ahead
in inserting the Exmor RSTM feature into the mobile cameras. The feature
that was a part of the Sony Cameras has a next generation BSI
light sensor & image sensor technology. It works on the
technology of luminescence and colour noise reduction. Thus, it gives more vivid
pictures with superior clarity even in the dark background.
HDR (High Dynamic Range) for videos
& photos- the
HDR technology in the Xperia C3 for both photos and videos give you a strong
and clear image against a strong backlight. The natural level of the colours is
retained while preserving the beauty of the pictures and the videos.
SteadyShot TM – this is yet another trademark by
the company. It is indeed a very good feature for having steady videos and
shots. No more shaky and hazy videos shall trouble you with this patented
feature.
3] Design
Sony Xperia C3 is light in weight while maintaining the sleek body. The new
Xperia is 7.6mm thin and weighs 156 gram. This one is quite portable and easy
to fir in anywhere.
4] Performance
The Smartphone is powered by a 1.2Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. However,
it still lacks in the measures of 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. The phone
supports a micro-sd slot expandable up to 32GB. Great news comes in for the internet users. Why run after the 3G services
when the Xperia c3 has the built in LTE/4G modem. This enables faster browsing
at a lightning speed. It gives up to 150Mbit/s of speed and around 50Mbit/s of
uploading speed.
The best part about the 2500mAh battery is that it runs with a STAMINA
mode. Therefore, when you are not using the phone, all the apps and functions
will turn off automatically. You can customise the notification settings, while
still receiving the calls when the functions are disabled. Sony promises 24
hours of talk time or 1071 hours of standby time or 10 hours of continuous
video streaming or 93 hours of music play on a full charge. While the Android 4.4 (KITKAT) provides the OS for the phone, you are
sure to have a nice time clicking and shooting.
Connectivity
The Sony Xperia C3 come with a NFC
(near Field Communication) to set up seamless and simple connections between
the gadgets in your home. This all comes with one-touch smart connect. It also has Wi-Fi and WiFi Hotspot functionality together with Bluetooth® 4.0.
This will surely be my pick for 20.490 INR had I loved taking pictures. For
the rest of the features, RAM is too less, while the battery is superior. The
phone is available in colours like white, black and mint. Let us see how far
this Smartphone goes in the market. Drop in your views here.
