Samsung, the South Korean major in the smart phone arena launched its ultra chic, light weight new tablet Galaxy Tab 10.5 along with its 8 inch model recently. They have been launched in “Dazzling White” and “Titanium Bronze” colors. This light weight tab 10.5 is ultra thin with a dimension of 177.30 X 247.30 X 6.60. Though it does not have major styling addition in comparison to its previous tablets, it looks trendy with its dimpled rear cover, a pair of touch sensitive keys and a physical home button. As the tablet weighs just 465 gm and 6.6mm thick it’s too light to carry a tablet of this size.

In order to cater to the popular pastime of the tablet owners’ i.e, watching movies or reading contents, Samsung has improvised the screen resolution and hence it’s like watching a widescreen television. The razor sharp clarity of the 10.5 inches screen is powered by a resolution of 2560 X 1600 pixels (WQVGA) and 16M colors. This stunning resolution is almost four times that of the HD TVs in the market. The Super AMOLED technology of Samsung along with such a resolution presents before you a stunningly clear picture. Above all these, the automatic brightness adjustment enables the viewing of pictures a cool experience without any strain on the eyes. Galaxy Tab 10 works on Android OS version 4.4.2 (KitKat) with the latest software of Samsung TouchWiz. This tablet comes in either 16GB or 32 GB internal memory with an expandable storage slot for microSD card. You can expand the storage with microSD card up to 128 GB. Exynos 5 octa Processor of Samsung with 1.3GHz octa-core speed aggravates the functioning of 3GB RAM. The HTML browser supporting Flash is a boon for those who access net on the go. Bluetooth v4.00 is supported in this Wi-Fi enabled tablet. A wide range of Wi-Fi standards like 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac are supported enabling an effective GPS.

This tablet has been loaded with few more additions like IR blaster though it does not have the heart rate monitor like the other smart phones of Samsung. A new Samsung’s own application namely the Kickapp is included in this Tablet. Kickapp is an app much needed at this hour of FIFA World Cup as the app comes with handy statistics on FIFA teams and players. This app will also update you about the match in progress with the scores and other vital data. You can also find Papergarden, a digital magazine, another latest app from Samsung added up in this tablet. Above all, the multi user mode of this tablet with finger printing scanner enables the users in a family to customize their tablet experience.
Keeping aside few things, the Samsung Galaxy 10.5 is an amazing Tablet device. It comes up with great design and extremely easy to use Interface. So if you are looking to buy a new Tablet for yourself, this Device is surely a worth take. Samsung said that the S10.5 will go on sales in July. The price of Galaxy Tab 10.5 is yet to be revealed.
