HTC One (E8) & HTC Desire 616 released in India

HTC finally stepped further in the Indian market by releasing HTC One (E8) & HTC Desire 616 on 11th July. The polycarbonate body giant HTC One (E8) is a variant of One (M8), with the only difference in the material of the body. One M8 sports a metal body. HTC has left no string untied in holding the Indian market with its sales of Smartphones. What people love most about the Taiwanese company is their catering to people of all the classes. Over the past few months, it has released both top-notch phones as well as some middle range phone. HTC one E8 Review

The One M8 variant is available at 34,900 INR and boasts a dual curve design. The company claims, the phone to fit naturally in the hand at any position. The phone is dual sim with a 2.5 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad core chipset. RAM is 2GB while the internal storage is 16GB. Best feature is the slot for memory card that supports memory up to 128 GB.

Display:- the screen is 5-inch and borderless. Full-HD is an add on to the display. The speakers are dual-stereo boomsound.

Operating System:- the Smartphone runs on the latest version of 4.4 Android KitKat. It also has a sense 6 UI running on the top. Remember, HTC One M8 supported a “Motion launch” sensor? This variant too is incorporated with the same.

Camera:- it features a 13MP rear camera but not an UltraPixel, plus a 5MP front camera for enhanced selfie experience. Full HD videos can be captured through both the cameras.

The battery is about 2600 mAh, that will actually last long after a full charge. The variant comes in four colours that are Electric Crimson, Maldives Blue, Polar White & Misty Grey.
The flagship comes in the Indian market by the end of July.

This is a middle range phone priced at 16,990 INR. It is good to learn that the HTC manufacturers are making phones keeping the Indian customers in mind. India provides a huge strategic market for the Flagship as well as middle range phones by HTC. The chief financial officer of HTC Chialin Chang said that, the company knows not all can afford top-end One-range phones. Thus, they are into making of phones that offer good services at lower price.

Desire 616 will start it sales from this week itself. The 5-Inch (720 x1280p) budget phone weighs 150 grams only (lighter than Sony Xperia C3). It measures 142x71.9x9.15mmand is powered by 1.4Ghz Mediatek Octa Core processor. The RAM is of 1GB, while internal storage is quite less of 4GB. Though, on insertion of a micro-sd card it can be expanded to 32GB.

The Blinkfeed phone runs on 4.2 Android Jellybean and features HTC UI sensor. HTC Desire 616 is also a dual sim Smartphone that has a 8MP rear camera with an LED flash and auto-focus as well a 2MP rear camera. The rear camera supports Full HD videos. Launched in Dark Frey and Pearl White colours, the phone has a 2000mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, it has Wi-Fi connection, Bluetooth 4.0 & GPS.
